WHO shows interest in Nepal's anti-novel corona virus
potion The World Health Organization has shown interest in herbal medicine for
the treatment of Covid 19. The WHO has also shown interest in the laboratory, it
said. The WHO on Thursday took information about the drug (vaccine) made by Dr.
Lalit Kumar Das, Professor of the Institute and also about its usefulness.
Dr.
Das said the WHO office in Geneva had discussed the medicine of Covid 19 and the
necessary assistance in this regard in consultation with experts from 73
countries through video conferencing.
Earlier, details of drugs and vaccines
produced in the laboratory were sent to the WHO. Prof. Dr. Damodar Gayre
assisted in sending the information to the WHO in writing and the Institute's
laboratory was selected by the WHO for video conference discussion. Professor
Gary said that during the two-hour long discussion, questions were asked about
the procedure for preparing the medicine. Various contributions to the
development of anti-novel corona virus vaccines were also discussed. "All the
concerned agencies in Nepal should evaluate the value of this vaccine.
Then
there was the matter of taking initiative with the WHO to evaluate the value of
this vaccine," he said. If approved for the vaccine project, the WHO will
provide ०० 100,000. Prof. Dr. Das claims to have developed a drug vaccine
against corona virus. Two months of research and herbs have been used with
enzymatic action with antioxidant and antiviral properties.
