The results of the US Diversity Visa (DV) for 2021 are being published today.
Sending a message on Twitter on Friday evening, the US Embassy in Kathmandu will unveil the DV results on Saturday (June) at 4:45 pm.
The results can be viewed at www.dvlottery.state.govt. Applicants can view their results based on the confirmation number they received when applying for the program.
According to the embassy, those who have lost their confirmation number can click on the forgotten confirmation number and fill in the required details to see their results.
"Applicants will have to inquire at the customer service center regarding the DV lottery via e-mail or phone," the embassy said.
DV lottery winners will begin applying for a US visa from October 2020, and all concerned must obtain it by the end of September, 2021.
Around 100 million to 200 million people worldwide fill out forms for the DV lottery.
