Dignity of labour
There are many kinds of jobs in our community. Labour includes most jobs which mainly involve the physical strength of body. For smooth running of the community, all kinds of jobs need to continue. No one in the modern time can fully be self-sufficient. They have to get services from many other people. The farmer grows food, the tailor stitches clothes, and the barber cuts hair. These services are need by everyone including the doctor and the administrator.
It's very important to realize that no work is inferior or superior. It's only our attitude that makes it so. For example, the farmer is not less important than our consultant doctor. The prime minister's job seems to be more important but he needs to be co-operated with by may professionals such as driver, washer man and butcher. Modern industries are based on division of labour, where each person does a certain piece of jobs. In the absence or negligence of anyone, the whole system fails. SO there is need of growing mutual respect for each other's jobs. For example, the director must have due respect and tolerance even towards a junior clerk that he has employed.
People are the greatest wealth of nation Every nation's development depends on the performance of the citizens. Developed countries are developed as a result of hard toil made by their citizens. Currently, China has been making incomparable progress because of it's vigorous people. A main cause behind the mass unemployment in Nepal is lack of respect for labour. The Nepalese simply don't value the jobs available in their territory.
'Idleness is devils workshop'. It is important for everyone to keep busy by doing something useful. Doing a job brings a regular income.Training and education makes a person more productive. One who is honest and sincere in his profession progress in life. One who tries to rise overnight through the illegal and immoral means collapses sooner or later. The one who boasts upon their wealth and wastes time soon get impoverished. Diligence is also an important quality of ideal citizen. They must know the value of time and must abide by the rules and regulations of the jobs.
